Representations of custom automobiles in various media, including video games, film series and music videos caused a synchronous spread of customization culture worldwide. This series aims to portray a reflection of the custom automobile culture in Turkey. I have invited individuals inside these conspicuous automobiles to pose in front of their vehicles. My photographs hopefully evoke the relation between these automobiles and their owners, and also provoke various interpretations on the concepts of identity, representation and consumption.
